Title BSW Child Welfare Workforce Clinical Faculty - Indianapolis Campus Appointment Status Non-Tenure Track Department IU Indianapolis School of Social Work Location Indianapolis Position Summary The Indiana University School of Social Work (IUSSW) invites applications for a BSW Child Welfare Workforce Clinical Faculty at the Indianapolis campus. This is a full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure track clinical faculty appointment under the oversight of the Child Welfare Education and Training Partnership. The anticipated start date is January 1, 2025. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Child Welfare Education and Training Partnership to manage the Child Abuse and Neglect Certificate Program and to support the Family Case Manager Development (FCM) Program with the Department of Child Services (DCS). This will include collaborations with the Director of the Child Welfare Education and Training Partnership, as well as other faculty involved with child welfare student services provided by the IU School of Social Work. In addition, this position will also work with the Indiana University-Indianapolis BSW Director and Student Services Coordinator to manage the Certificate Program. Primary responsibilities for this position include recruiting for the Child Abuse and Neglect Certificate Program in conjunction with the Indiana University BSW Student Services Coordinator(s) and serving as an advisor to students participating in the program. The incumbent is required to teach one course per calendar year in the BSW or MSW program and to coordinate curriculum updates for the FCM Development Program with the Instructional Technology Consultant. The Indiana University School of Social Work (IUSSW) is a university-wide system school with an MSW Program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education since 1923 and a BSW Program accredited since 1975. The IUSSW is headquartered at Indiana University-Indianapolis (IUI) and houses the Department of Labor Studies. IUSSW enrolls over 2,000 across programs. Basic Qualifications Qualifications include an MSW (Master's Social Work) from a CSWE (Council on Social Work Education) accredited program is required. Must also have at least two years of experience post MSW full-time practice experience to meet CSWE requirements to serve as a field instructor and to teach. Experience with either teaching or training, as well as in public child welfare, is preferred.
