Your Role You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and contribute to the overall success of our organization. In your daily job you will: * Contribute to the design and development of complex software applications, algorithms, and data models to enhance Situational Awareness capabilities of our safety critical system(s). * Conduct in-depth research and analysis of emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry trends related to SAF. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technical fellows, feature owners and product managers to ensure effective integration of Situational Awareness solutions into AD / ADAS systems. * Lead the evaluation, testing, and validation of SAF modules to ensure optimal performance and reliability. * Identify and address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and propose innovative solutions to improve system functionality and performance. Your Background Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your: * Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical / Computer / Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or closely related field. * 2-year development experience (industrial / academic) using C / C++ / Matlab Simulink * 2-year experience (industrial / academic) in developing automotive / robotic embedded software applications. * 1-year experience in designing controls, sensor fusion or situation analysis algorithms. * 1 year experience in Agile Software Development and Tools like Jira, DOORS / Polarion, and GIT/Gerrit. * 1 year experience of developing, designing, and debugging CAN and Ethernet gateway communication. Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience in developing safety critical applications adhering to ISO-26262, DO-178B or IEC-61508 standards. * A working level understanding of AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive Platform software architectures * Prior experience working in either an ASPICE or CMMI compliant engineering development process.
