Piper Companies is looking for a CAD Drafter to join a consulting engineering firm located in Baltimore, MD. The CAD Drafter will use CAD programs to create technical drawings. Responsibilities of the CAD Drafter include: * Effectively use CAD programs to design technical drawings * Draw blueprint drawings, floor plans, and mechanical drawings * Design technical drawings of different interior spaces, including staircases, walls, doors, and railings * Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to create drawings of buildings * Understand federal, state, and local building codes.
