The purpose of the co-op/internship position is to develop college students that are pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting. Interns will be exposed to a variety of projects, activities, and operations that occur within a renewable energy business. Interns will have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills learned in college and demonstrate abilities in the workplace. The position is temporary, nonexempt, part-time/hourly. * Must be a college student, sophomore or higher standing, currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in finance or accounting. * Solid computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). Familiarity with data exchange tools and concepts. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Effective project management skills. * Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete projects within tight deadlines. * Must be available to work January 2025-August 2025. * Employment is contingent upon passing a post-offer background check and drug screen. * Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without an accommodation. * Enhance job knowledge and abilities by taking personal responsibility for professional development and training. * Provide project assistance. * Perform responsibilities as directed within determined time frames and with a high degree of accuracy. Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and the company. * Maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skills necessary to effectively complete responsibilities. Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information. * Attend work on a regular basis and support the company's employee policies and procedures, including workplace safety rules. * Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
