Responsibilities: LightSpeed Studios is one of the world's most innovative and successful game developers. With team across China, United States, Singapore, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, and United Arab Emirates. We are expanding to more countries. Founded in 2008, LightSpeed Studios has created over 50 games across multiple platforms and genres for over 4 billion registered users. It is the co-developer of worldwide hits PUBG MOBILE, Apex Legends Mobile, and League of Legends: Wild Rift (Chinese Version). LightSpeed Tech Center is a centralized platform for LightSpeed Studios, including game engine, audio, QA, AI, tech partnership, research & development, and other tech-related teams. As an intern of Lightspeed Tech Center, you will participate in projects regarding one of the following areas: * Working with scientists to research and develop advanced techniques in the following topics: * 3D geometric learning, * Re-meshing and UV optimization, * Physically-based animation and simulation * Machine learning for computer graphics * Motion planning in virtual city * Character locomotion and control * Realistic image synthesis and real-time rendering techniques * Researching and developing tools and pipelines to facilitate the use of technologies in the game development environment Requirements: * Strong coding skills in one of following programming languages: C++, python, TensorFlow/Torch * Solid knowledge in calculus, linear algebra, basic numerical analysis * A strong sense of responsibility and good communication skills Plus: * Graduate students in a master or Ph.D. level program * Publications on computer graphics/vision, machine learning, and robotics * Familiarity with game engine, graphics APIs, and GPU programming Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Tencent: Diversity, equity and inclusion are important, interdependent components of our workplace.
