The Diagnostic Medical Imagining Program at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor (12-Month). The successful candidate will: * Serve as a full-time faculty member providing classroom/lab instruction for assigned courses as part of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) curriculum. * Conduct assessment of student learning and skill set. * Provide academic advisement. * Perform mentorship of senior projects. * Participate in clinical site supervision, student recruitment and college service. * Maintain ARDMS credentials as well as clinical experience. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Sonography from an accredited sonography school. * Certification in Vascular Technology (RVT-VT), Abdomen (RDMS-AB), and Obstetrics & Gynecology (RDMS-OB/GYN). * 3+ years of clinical work experience. * Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. * Strong computer skills and outstanding organizational skill-set. Preferred Qualifications: * Registration/Certification in Echocardiography.
