The Caton Companies is seeking a Farm Laborer for The Caton Farm. The Farm Laborer will manually plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables, fruits, nuts and field crops. Use hand tools, such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Duties may include tilling soil and applying fertilizers; transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops; applying pesticides; cleaning, packing, and loading harvested products. May construct trellises, repair fences and farm buildings, or participate in irrigation activities. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a part-time hourly position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Travel/ Driving * Need to utilize personal transportation * "On-call" status for snow removal. * Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage. Required Education and Experience * High School Diploma/GED * Little or no previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed Employment is conditional on satisfactorily completing all pre-employment requirements.
