Position Purpose:#Provides professional psychiatric, diagnostic, and therapeutic services to patients who have mental health needs; assists with the education and training of other staff, community agencies and the public; and to do related work as required. # Essential Functions Conduct psychiatric evaluations of patients to develop an appropriate treatment and/or referral. Participates as member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team providing clinical input to ensure clinically appropriate and timely treatment plans and updates. Collaborates with other Psychiatry programs and referral resources to ensure coordination in patient care. Participates in planning, collecting data and interpreting results for Quality reviews. Documents clinical treatment according to Quality guidelines Participates in systematic program evaluation results.
