The Aviation Safety Officer fosters a "safety first" culture by providing daily oversight, management, and leadership of safety programs for BSU Aviation Flight Operations and the Aviation Science department. This position reports to the Chief Instructor and works cooperatively with the Dean's office in the Ricciardi College of Business and with the President's office. TOUR OF DUTY: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. (Subject to change) (Saturday and Sunday as days off) This is a full-time, 12-month APA position and is subject to the terms of that union agreement. This position is located at the BSU Flight Training Center located at New Bedford Regional Airport in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
