POSITION SUMMARY: Our client is looking for a Software Design Engineer for an onsite role in Silicon Valley, CA. Candidate will be working on software for validation and manufacturing test. Currently the team is using an automated test executive application in C# WPF, built on PRISM library and MVVM design patterns, driven by XML sequence model. Role is within a hardware team, so will include thorough debugging skills and desire to work on new devices. Responsibilities * Ensure proper configuration and setup of devices for optimal performance. * Update device firmware or software as needed * Manage device lineage and tracking for efficient identification and maintenance. * Gather and organize relevant data from devices using various methods. * Facilitate communication between devices and other systems through onboard peripherals, such as I2C, SPI, and UART. * Continuously monitor system processes and performance metrics. * Parse and analyze log and results files to extract valuable insights. * Integrate and utilize instrument libraries from vendors like NI and Keysight for specific measurement tasks. Qualifications * Must have 3-5+ years experience with C#. * Must have 3-5+ years of experience with PowerShell * Must have 3-5+ years experience with MVVM. * Must have 3-5+ years experience with Debugging. * The ideal resume would contain WPF Application developer - Skillset C#, Powershell.
