Job Summary The main objective of this role is to provide accurate pricing and advanced analysis to support complex structured transactions from trading, origination, as well as generation development groups. Understanding of the power and gas markets, regulatory policies in Vistra's operation regions: ERCOT, PJM, ISONE, MISO and CAISO is an advantage. Job Description Key Accountabilities * Provide accurate pricing and analytics support for trading, origination and generation development groups. * Assist in the development, testing, and validation of quantitative models for pricing, trading, and risk assessment to meet client's pricing request for complex structured transactions, such as power purchase agreement (PPA), heatrate call options (HRCOs), swaptions. * Understand gas and power market forward pricing curves, volatilities and correlations and their effect on pricing in general. Conduct statistical analysis and price simulations to understand optionality and risks embedded in the transactions. * Work closely with senior analysts, traders, and other team members to develop and implement analytical solutions, appropriate models/tools.
