Position Summary

Purpose Financial is looking for a Product Analyst to join our Product Analytics team to help analyze product performance, identify areas for improvement, design A/B testing strategies, and facilitate product portfolio optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analytics, data modeling, and of the consumer lending industry/products.

Job Responsibility
Develop and monitor product metrics/KPIs, and report on performance to leadership
Conduct scenario analysis of product performance and customer behavior to identify opportunities for improvement and profitable growth
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product strategies that align with business goals and implement data-driven solutions to business problems, such as improving customer retention
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
Contribute to the development and maintenance of product roadmaps, requirements, and specifications
Communicate product updates and changes to stakeholders across the organization
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in data science and analytics, including generative AI / LLM applications.
Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to develop and launch new products and features.
Produce ad hoc reporting, analysis, and other data models skillfully as needed.

Education Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Experience Required

1 - 3 years of experience in analytics, preferably in the consumer lending industry with a focus on revolving/open-ended credit products.

Knowledge Required

Excellent written and verbal communications skills; adaptability and flexibility to changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products.

Excellent working knowledge of Python, SQL, and SQL applications
Exposure to reporting tools such as Tableau, Sigma
Ability to combine data from multiple sources to analyze and interpret business performance
Excellent written and verbal communications skills as would be needed to communicate in person, by phone, and through email
Adaptability and flexibility to changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Ability to interact professionally and exhibit appropriate social skills. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products. Ability to quickly learn all technology needed to perform the role
Physical Requirements
