Experience A minimum of two years' experience as a City of Fairfield Fire Battalion Chief or four years management experience as a Battalion Chief with a full service public fire agency is required.   Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.   License and Certifications * Possession of a valid State of California Class C driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required at the time of appointment. * If assigned to oversee EMS, paramedic certification is desirable.
