This position reports within the Bureau of Local Government and School Services, this position is responsible for performing high level policy research and analysis regarding the General Property Tax Act and is responsible for a range of complex assignments of various property tax matters.  This position is responsible for supporting several policy programs, education and training initiatives for which the State Tax Commission is responsible per the General Property Tax Act.  This position is responsible for serving as the Executive Director of the State Tax Commission and assisting in coordinating agenda items for the State Tax Commission.  This position reviews and evaluates policy and staff recommendations to ensure they adhere to the rules, regulations and procedures in law and State Tax Commission promulgated rules and policy. Education Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major. Experience Note:  Experience is considered professional if the job requires a bachelor's degree.  State Assistant Administrator 15 Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
