The admin director works closely with the Vice President and the Medical Director of Oncology Services to define the mission, budget, performance standards, and strategic goals for oncology services at CoxHealth. Responsibilities include providing leadership to oncology department managers and frontline staff; overseeing accreditation processes for the oncology program and monitoring adherence to all associated accreditation standards of the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) and the American College of Radiology (ACR) for areas of responsibility; overseeing employee engagement, patient experience, operations, capital purchases, and quality metrics for oncology services across the system The system director also plays a key role in overseeing oncology research at CoxHealth facilities. Job Requirements * Education * Required: Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field * Preferred: Masters of Business or Healthcare Administration * Experience * Required: At least 5 years' experience in a healthcare related field * Skills * Good public relation skills. * Excellent telephone skills. * Must be able to work effectively with staff, public and external agencies. * Must have the ability to take initiative and to exercise good judgment and decision-making * Critical thinking, conflict management, negotiation and Personnel development * Licensure/Certification/Registration * N/A
