This position is responsible for ensuring that the Body Shop meets the needs of the company associated with the repair, painting of all MPW equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Supervises body technicians ensuring safe work practices are being followed, quality work is being performed, and housekeeping is up to MPW standards. 2. Coordinates workflow to technicians, prioritizing equipment needs through Body Shop Manager and Operations. 3. Repairs specific cosmetic failures as needed. 4. Performs mentorship, training, and technical support to lower level technicians. 5. May be required to work temporarily at field locations repairing/painting equipment. 6. Performs other duties as directed. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Ensure scheduled repairs are completed on time and correctly. 2. Adjust schedule to meet changing priorities and emergencies. 3. Must maintain good communication between shifts with supervisor and production manager. KEY BEHAVIORS: 1. Required Skills N/A Required Experience 1. A minimum of High School Diploma with specialization in industrial or vocational trades preferred. 2. High School Education or equivalent is acceptable. 3. Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) standards as they relate to equipment and equipment maintenance. 4. Knowledge of painting, Linex and auto body repair. 5. Effective oral and written communications, listening skills, and ability to interact with others. 6. Strong computer skills on Microsoft operating systems and productivity software. 7. 5-8 years mechanical experience. 8. 3-5 years supervisory experience.
