Job Description The Licensed Nurse @ The Kensington provides exemplary nursing services to residents. This is a full-time position. Sunday-Thursday, 8am-5pm. Starting pay: $35/hr Hiring bonus: $500 What will I do every day? * Assess residents to identify their physical, psychosocial and environmental needs * Monitor residents' well-being and report any changes in condition * Provide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living Director * Assist with Medication Management Program * Assist with care plans * Participate in the Assisted Living performance improvement process * Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately * Document evaluation of nursing interventions including resident response What will I need to be successful in this role? * Bring a smile to work every day * Be a great team player * Be a graduate of an accredited RN/LVN/LPN program * Have a minimum of one-year experience as a nurse in a senior care setting * Have some Assisted living and/or dementia experience (preferred) Special Requirements/Certifications I may need? * Current active, unencumbered Nursing License in the state of practice (LVN/RN/LPN) What's in it for me?
