Duties This position is located in our CFO/ Management Division. As a/an Supervisory Visual Information Specialist, you will: * Oversee the visual information program to ensure the most effective program coverage to ensure presentations (printed/video) for information papers, reports, briefings, brochures, exhibits and photo/video documentation to achieve communication goals. * Supervise a team of Visual Information Specialists that plan, design, and execute a variety of projects to convey information concerning FinCEN mission requirements. * Determine scope and methods of analytical presentation of writing projects based on knowledge of subject matter and skill in adapting style, manner of presentation, political sensitivities of certain technical aspects and format to the requirements of medium used and needs of the audience. * Manage and prepare budgetary matters for the Visual Information program and recommends the purchasing of high-tech equipment to produce VID products. Requirements Conditions of Employment Security Clearance: This position has been designated National Security Level II, Non-Critical Sensitive and requires incumbent to obtain and maintain eligibility for a Secret clearance. Must meet and continue to adhere to the requirements of a Tier 3 level background investigation. All employees are subject to satisfactory completion of periodic reinvestigation and a continuing life style in conformity with applicable national and FinCEN directives. Any unfavorable information developed during an investigation or other official inquiry may result in termination of employment in accordance with established security policies and procedures. This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into "Continuous Vetting." Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automated record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with Treasury. The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time. Specialized experience is defined as experience: Determines the need for information materials to enhance the programs activities. Uses a variety of methods and techniques to ensure the planning, designing, and executing of visual materials achieve communication goals such as development of video presentations, multimedia, brochures, publication design, handout materials, posters, illustrations, signs and displays promoting program initiatives and requirements. AND Determines scope and methods of analytical presentation of writing projects based on knowledge of subject matter and skill in adapting style, manner of presentation, political sensitivities of certain technical aspects and format to the requirements of medium used and needs of the audience. OR Applying script, graphic design and print electronic publishing processes using current versions of Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.) and Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) applications. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
