Job Overview: The Patient Navigator non clinical will support the clinical team in the Outpatient Surgical setting within the assigned specialty. Will coordinate patient care under the direction of the clinical team including but not limited to coordinating patient appointments, obtaining same day authorizations for patient testing and procedures, obtaining referrals and necessary documents for all appointments, navigating and escorting patients to necessary test/procedure. Qualifications: Required: * High School Diploma or equivalent * 1-3 years of related experience within the healthcare field, required * Ability and interest to learn clinical information and criteria.
