Title: Career Coach, Kettle Run High School (Education Support Specialist III) Agency: Laurel Ridge Community College Location: Fauquier - 061 FLSA: Nonexempt Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is $20.00-$30.00 per hour. Salary will commensurate with education and experience. The career coach position will be housed at Kettle Run High School and is responsible for helping high school students define their career aspirations and identifying opportunities for higher education or training to meet those aspirations. Minimum Qualifications: * Experience utilizing oral and written communication skills in presentations and reports * Computer technology experience- Word, Excel, and other commonly used platforms * Proven academic excellence and subject matter knowledge, which may be evidenced by training, experience, and/or a Associate's Degree Preferred Qualifications: * Experience administering and interpreting assessments. * Experience conducting workshops for small groups. * Demonstrated proficiency with computer software, and able to learn new software quickly. * Demonstrated ability to work well with others. * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. * Previous secondary school experience, preferably in a high school setting, or related professional experiences
