This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in overseeing and managing sports programs. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of the campus community through organized sports activities. CRW is committed to creating an environment of belonging and well-being and supports the Division of Student Affairs' commitment to purposeful well-being. Responsibilities: * Supervise and manage intramural sports programs and games. * Train, schedule, and evaluate sports officials and scorekeepers. * Ensure the safety and fair play of all participants. * Assist with the setup and breakdown of sports equipment and facilities. * Provide excellent customer service to participants and spectators. * Promote CRW sports programs and encourage student participation. * Travel to and from off-site activities in CRW vehicles while adhering to all applicable University policies/procedures. * Ensure safety through proper First Aid, CPR, and EAP training. * Check-in teams and ensure waivers/forms are completed before each contest. * Work nights and weekends to include at least two shifts per calendar week. * Perform hourly activity level counts at various CRW facilities. Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.) Preferred (Majors, GPA): Majors that may find this a good fit include, but are not limited to: * Kinesiology * Recreation and Park Management * Sports Management * Exercise Physiology * Minimum GPA: 2.5 General Qualifications: * Experience in sports or officiating preferred * Strong leadership and communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Knowledge of sports rules and regulations (preferred) * CPR and First Aid certification required.
