Overview KeHE Distributors (Naperville, IL) seeks a Software Quality Assurance Manager responsible for defining and executing overall end to end program quality strategy, plan and management of automation strategy, as well as managing the team in these same practices. Primary Responsibilities Specific duties include: utilize multiple key software testing methodologies and technologies; define and contribute to systems in multiple areas of product quality and system reliability; stay up to date on evolving standards, platform features, and critical vendor and community-provided technologies; identify and champion adoptions of technological advantages for the teams, department, and company; define, document, and evolve best practices for development and collaboration in the teams area of focus; shepherd and aid in development of new projects across the organization; provide training and mentoring for team members; constantly work to broaden the technical capabilities of the team; manage a team of software quality engineers and analysts while consistently working to improve hiring and employee development; support the team, as well as others; directly contribute to the delivery of high-quality solutions; regularly interview candidates in a variety of quality roles; help to identify key risks in technology solutions and act to drive risk mitigation; and take lead on software quality projects. Position requires occasional travel within the U.S. Option to work remotely. Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Senior Automation Engineer, Computer Software Professional, Consultant Assistant, QA Team Lead, or similar position as quality engineering subject matter expert and technical expert mentoring and leading software quality assurance team members. Must have 4 years of experience with each of the following: managing manual and automated quality assurance practices and procedures; participating in the architecture and design of a feature; overseeing project teams responsible for producing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases; reviewing test documents developed by QA staff; implementation of automation frameworks supporting Agile/Scrum Development lifecycle and end-to-end testing; coding Automation Framework using Java and Selenium; scripting queries with Database technology such as SQL and Postgres; participating in defect management and root cause analysis; working with Version Control System such as Git, GitHub or Bit Bucket; working with CI/CD Process using Jenkins or similar tools to integrate automation builds; working with Project Development process such as Agile, Scrum, or V-Model; and working with Automation Framework such as Cucumber, Jbehave or TestNG. Additionally, must have 3 years of experience with each of the following: working with Jmeter or similar Load/Performance Analysis Tools; generating and publishing reports to management; working in an Agile Environment with exposure to the full software development life cycle; coding Appium Mobile Automation framework and Regression Suites; and coding with Rest Assured API using Java libraries. Specific experience must also include 2 years with at least two of the AWS services such as Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, SQS, or EC2. Must be willing to occasionally travel with the U.S. Option to work remotely.
