ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Lead and manage the BI team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. * Develop and implement a comprehensive BI strategy aligned with business objectives. * Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, with a strong focus on Power BI. * Collaborate closely with business partners across various departments to understand their needs and provide actionable insights. * Act as a strategic advisor to senior management by translating data into strategic insights that drive business growth and efficiency. * Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all BI processes and outputs. * Utilize advanced SQL skills to query, manipulate, and analyze data effectively. * Monitor and evaluate the performance of BI solutions, making improvements as needed. * Stay current with industry trends and advancements in BI tools and technologies. * Provide training and support to end-users to promote data-driven decision-making. * Manage BI projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. * Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements. JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred * 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field * Proven experience in managing and leading a BI team * Proficiency with Power BI, including experience in developing complex dashboards and reports * Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management * Advanced SQL skills, with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance * Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. * Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders. * Proven track record of translating data into strategic business insights. * Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. * Experience with data governance and regulatory compliance is desirable.
