Position Summary: Technologist will perform radiography & angiography procedures; will work under the supervision of the modality supervisory technologist and modality medical director. Technologist will: - Perform all technical procedures within the respective modality sections as described in the Radiology Policy Manual. - Meet the technical competency requirements for the position. - Maintain an effective working relationship with all staff. - Participate in professional education programs, patient/staff safety initiatives, and quality assurance/ improvement activities. Schedule: Per-Diem/ Variable/ As needed Required Knowledge & Skills: * Documented training and experience in radiography * Current BLS certification * Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license* * Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation* * For recent radiologic technology graduate only: ARRT registered certification eligibility in Radiography with RT(R); must obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license Education: Documented training and experience in radiography Experience: Documented training and experience in radiography Certification/Licensure: see Required Knowledge & Skills above Software/Hardware: Imaging acquisition, processing, reviewing, sending, and retrieving equipment (hardware and software); Hospital information system equipment (hardware and software); Communication equipment (e.g., fax, telephone, email, etc) Additional Information Important COVID Message This position is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Steward Health Care Workforce.
