Positions Available: * Clinical PsyD/PhD Assessment * Clinical PsyD/PhD Therapy * Clinical PsyD/PhD Advanced * Clinical Social Work Clientele serviced by the OSchool: * School Age (6-12) * Adolescent (13-17) * Female/Male/Non-binary/Transgender * Bisexual/Gay/Heterosexual/Lesbian * African-American/Asian-American/Bi-racial/European/Latino/Hispanic * Learning Cognitive * Severe Mental Illness * Attention-Deficit & Disruptive Behavior * Mood * Impulse Control * Anxiety * Adjustment * Dissociative * Pervasive Developmental * Schizophrenia & Other Psychotic Clinical Intervention Activities: * Individual Therapy/Counseling * Case Management * Program Development * Group Therapy/Counseling * Milieu Therapy * Family Therapy/Counseling * Crisis Intervention Clinical Assessment Activities: * Intake Interviews * Mental Status Exam * Self-Report Measures * Achievement/Aptitude Testing * Structured Interviews * Projective Testing * Intelligence Testing * Diagnostic Clinical Interviews * Objective Testing Hours of Individual Supervision/Week: 1-2 Hours of Group Supervision/Week: 1-2 Tuesday or Thursday is a required training day in order to co-lead group therapy An ideal applicant is passionate about working with children and adolescents who present with a variety of mental health struggles and is eager to become part of our O-School community, prioritizes creating meaningful relationships and takes initiative to do so, is able to easily adhere to structure while remaining flexible and open-minded, think creatively, have great self-awareness and are willing to be challenged, including: * Students who are able to work independently and take initiative on tasks though still seek out support and guidance in supervision and when needed. * Students who are comfortable navigating large milieu and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff members including teachers, social workers, counselors, etc. * Students who are focused on developing their experience working with children and adolescents with significant mental health issues. * For assessment practicum, students who are interested in doing psycho-educational testing, including a combination of intellectual, academic, social, emotional and personality measures. * Students who are interest in learning more about the IEP process and about special education and therapeutic schools.
