Marcus & Millichap has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and results-driven sales recruiting manager to join our team! This is a play/coach role with direct and managerial responsibilities to identify, attract, and secure talented individuals, established teams and/or companies to join our commercial real estate business in U.S. and Canada. The recruiting manager will play a pivotal role in increasing the firm's experienced agent workforce through proactive outreach efforts. We are seeking an ideal candidate who has a demonstrated history of successfully recruiting commission-based sales professionals, strong management skills, and a commitment to ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process. The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in New York, NY is $150,000 - $175,000/annual. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Marcus & Millichap is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states. Responsibilities * Build a trusted advisor relationship with direct reports, hiring managers and senior leadership to understand hiring needs and priorities for their respective markets. * Provide ongoing education, support and guidance to sales recruiters to enhance their abilities in candidate assessment, negotiation, fostering positive relationships with potential recruits, and achieving recruitment goals. * Leverage market data to devise strategies for identifying acquisition opportunities and cultivate candidate pool. * Initiate outreach contact to experienced agents or established teams to introduce our firm and the opportunities available. * Assess candidates' qualifications, historical production results and compatibility with our firm's culture. * Cultivate strong relationships with candidates and maintain ongoing and effective communication throughout the recruitment journey. * Supervise the sales recruiting team to monitor and manage the candidate pipeline in the applicant tracking system, and consistently update stakeholders on recruitment progress and candidate statuses. * Coordinate the recruitment process with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience. * Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions related to commercial real estate recruiting. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in business administrator or related field. * Requires 5+ years of prior experience in sales recruiting, with a preference for specialization in direct sourcing of 100% commission-based sales roles. Agency experience a plus. * Must have prior experience managing a distributed sales recruiting team. * Experience managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, including employer branding, candidate engagement, and recruitment analytics. * Demonstrated experience in sourcing and screening passive candidates using various channels and techniques such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other social media platforms. * Proven ability to create networks and build strong relationships with passive candidates. * Exceptional oral and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. * Strong sense of urgency with a commitment to quality and follow through. * Strong business acumen, decision-making and negotiation skills. * Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Previous commercial real estate experience is a plus. #LI-LG Founded in 1971, Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI) is a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm focusing exclusively on investment sales, financing, research, and advisory services, with nearly 1,700 investment sales and financing professionals in 80+ offices throughout the United States and Canada.
