Job Title: Microbiologist Lab Technician Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, defensible analytical data in a timely and safe manner within our ISO Accredited Food Microbiology laboratory. Key duties include sample preparation, setting up samples for both quantitative and qualitative microbiology workflows, and performing a variety of food microbiological procedures. This position offers the opportunity to grow and gain full knowledge of indicator organisms and rapid PCR assays. You will handle food ingredients, ready-to-eat foods, pet food, and agricultural products like grains and legumes. Flexibility in working hours, willingness to work overtime, and the ability to perform shift work are essential.
