As a Field Operator for Enbridge, you will play an important role in the safe and efficient operations at the area terminal and station facilities. If this sounds like you, please apply today! #joinourteam * Cross-Border relocations not available for this position What You Will Do: * Relieves for Field Operators during time off/training. * Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Cushing facility. * Acts as company representative, witness meter proving, and measurement checks on connecting carrier facilities. * Climb tanks to gauge or inspect upon request. * Performs DOT/PM inspections. * Obtain crude oil samples and report lab analysis as required. * Perform measurement and quality checks as required in Book 5 Petroleum Quality and Measurement Manual. * Adhere to all applicable company and regulatory standards, policies and procedures. * Complete and maintain all company mandated training and operator qualification requirements. * Complete hazard assessments and issue safe work permits as required. * Assist with the maintenance of the Cushing Terminal's Emergency Response equipment. * Oversee and/or assist with all projects in areas of responsibility. * Perform site security checks/Terminal equipment rounds. * Emergency Response Activities Who You Are: * with 2 years of oil & gas experience. * Familiar with pertinent equipment (e.g. valves, small/large piping, programmable logic controls, tank gauging, sampling/lab/measurement and instrumentation). * Must be committed to and able to display integrity, safety, and respect in the workplace. * Must have a valid driver's license & excellent driving record. * Must be able to follow specific laboratory procedures without deviation. * Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and the aptitude for other specialized programs. * Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. * Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, physical, and background checks. Preferred: * College degree or technical school diploma. * Demonstrates mechanical aptitude. Working Conditions: Primarily field oriented, with specific office duties for training, meetings, documentation of tasks as required by the US Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies for which Enbridge must comply. Must be willing to work 24/7 12 hour rotating shifts and be on-call as required to support the operation of the pipeline system. Must be willing to respond to emergencies that may require working shifts longer than 12 hours for several consecutive days. Physical Requirements: Include but are not limited to: · Balancing, bending, and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 50 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (up to 75 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, reads fine print), hearing requirement. Mental Requirements: Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via teleph Diversity and inclusion are important to us.
