Job Description: Siena College is accepting applications for the position of Student Coordinator in the School of Science (SOS). This is a full-time, 12-month position that reports to the Assistant Dean of the School of Science. Responsibilities: * Serve as the first SOS contact for students, parents, faculty, staff and outside visitors by providing excellent customer service * Provide administrative support to the Dean and Assistant Dean of Science * Work with faculty and students to facilitate scheduling, registration and maintaining files and records * Oversee the employment processes for regular and work study SOS student employees by working with Financial Aid and Business Affairs to manage procedures and paperwork Salary: $16.76/hour * The hiring salary above represent the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law. Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one-year relevant experience; proficiency in Microsoft office products (knowledge of Banner a plus) and the ability to learn new computer software programs. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and interact effectively with faculty, administrators, students and parents are essential to this position, as is the ability to prioritize appropriately. A background screening will be required. Additional Information: Siena College offers a generous benefit package to eligible full-time employees.
