Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP Product Engineer who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops. Role: SAP Product Engineer Job Level: Associate Director Location: Houston, TX. Work from home - Remote. Duration: Full Time only - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. We are seeking an Associate Director SAP Project Engineer with deep industry, business, functional and technical know-how to enable the product team with the necessary skills and foundations to grow. In parallel the role will also ensure that the software is delivered and maintained according to the quality standards and processes. Lastly also directly develop and test the code as opportunities permit. Role Responsibilities: * Learn and grasp required regulatory accounting general ledger accounting managerial accounting and fixed asset accounting knowledge. * Learn and grasp the required FI-GL FI-CO FI-AA PS and EAM knowledge. * Learn and grasp the functions and features of Finance4U products. * Learn and deeply understand the core designs and codes of Finance4U products. * Digest the functional specification document and develop the technical designs to accomplish the functional requirements. * Develop and enhance the codes of Finance4U products. * Provide product support to customer-reported issues. * Solving the root cause of the issues in the customer systems and provide fixes or enhancements. * Conduct code reviews. * Conduct unit tests to the products. * Write user documentations. * Support the implementation projects deliver quality assurance to consulting projects. * Support sales team on demos and presentations. * Research new technologies and identify approaches and use cases to the business processes. * Coach and direct the team to accomplish the above tasks efficiently and with quality. Required Qualifications: 12+ years of development experience, with focus on SAP ABAP, Netweaver and Fiori and other programming languages This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
