Job Description Summary Anatomic Pathology Assistant Manager reports to the Laboratory Manager. Under limited supervision, the Assistant Manager is responsible for organizing tasks, work flow, evaluating and solving technical issues in specialty areas, problems of specimen collection and processing. This role interacts with the medical/technical director and laboratory manager to establish procedures and policies. This position maintains expertise in gross pathology, histopathology, special stains, and immunohistochemistry, testing and methodologies. Additional Job Description Education: Advance knowledge and skills in a specialty area of Anatomic Pathology required. * A bachelor's degree in a science related field * American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification in a related clinical laboratory science * AND a master's degree or completion within three years * Five years leadership experience (preferred) * Laboratory operations experience (preferred) Licensures, Registrations, Certifications * HTL (ASCP), or CT (ASCP), or PA(ASCP) * Lean Six Sigma Yellow, Green, or Black Belt If you like working with energetic enthusiastic individuals, you will enjoy your career with us!
