PSECU, a high-tech progressive financial institution with more than $8 billion in assets, is seeking an IT Project Management Intern that is responsible for assisting IT Project Managers with various project tasks. The IT Project Management Intern will gain hands-on experience in these areas including performing technical duties, documenting / administrative functions, and shadowing more experienced team members. Employee Type: Part-Time, Non-exempt Schedule: 20 hours per week with a 60% onsite requirement at our office located in Harrisburg, PA. Salary: Up to $20.00/hr. (commensurate with experience) Candidate must be bondable and credit worthy. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Essential for this position: * Carry out basic business analysis (process flows, user experience, business workflows, etc.). * Responsible for implementing initiatives for the Credit Union as directed. * Ensure adherence to accepted project management practices. * Work with IT project managers to provide communication, documentation, and everyday management of active projects. * Work with IT project managers to develop various communications (minutes, reports, updates) for project stakeholders. * Assist IT project managers in various stages of a project's lifecycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing. * Must be knowledgeable in the operations of the Information Technology Services Department. MINIMUM / PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Minimum Experience: * College student enrolled in a project management-oriented program.
