Responsible for departmental procurement and payment support; museum store product development, marketing, purchasing, and inventory control; periodic interactions with point-of-sale system vendor; management of Friends of the James Monroe Museum membership program; training staff, volunteers, and interns as appropriate. Required Experience: Experience providing general administrative support within a professional office environment. Additional Considerations: KSAs Knowledge of point-of-sale systems and equipment. Knowledge of SCT Banner and eVA systems. EDUCATION College degree or coursework. Experience Experience in retail operations, product development, and marketing; previous paid or unpaid museum work; experience with point-of-sale systems and equipment; experience in higher education or nonprofit environment.
