We are looking for a talented student to join our team for our School to Work - Photographer & Photo Editor in Florence, KY. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: The Cummins-Meritor Cooperative Education Student who is pursuing a bachelor's degree in fine arts or graphics communications. The primary role of the Photo Editor and Photographer STW will be capturing, reviewing, editing, and releasing digital product images to be used for various print and online applications. The student will, at the same time, gain real world experience and education in the field of photography and photo editing in a business environment. The position will also include supporting the E-Commerce team with web page design/review, content updates, and other projects. The candidate will be familiar and proficient with Adobe Photoshop and related software editing programs. Visit www.meritorpartsxpress.com to view our e-commerce website. * Coordinates photography assignments and captures and edits high quality images. * Serves as a principal source of information on photographic equipment and techniques. * Maintains quality control throughout production of assigned photography projects. Understands software applications and operation guides (Ortery - Training Provided). * Participates in strategic and creative concept development to achieve optimum photos. * Keeps abreast of new developments in photographic and editing technology. * Maintains photographic archives and documents related images for future searches. Performs other duties as assigned. To be successful in this role you will need the following: * Experience in digital photography. * Proficient in Adobe Photoshop * knowledge of Microsoft Office tools preferred. * Ability to learn on the job in a dynamic environment while balancing multiple priorities. * Ability to work independently and within teams as needed. * Demonstrates written and oral communication skills, including presentation creation. * Strong teamwork and ability to interact with all levels of the organizations. * Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Education, Licenses, Certification * Pursuing a bachelor's degree in fine arts or graphics communications. * Post-Secondary: * Must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters. * Must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA. Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
