What You'll Get To Do: The position will be responsible for understanding and promoting products features and benefits, developing pricing strategy and policy, and implementation of promotional and sales support materials. This technical position is responsible under limited supervision to be technically proficient with assigned passive products categories and interface with assigned product teams, business development BDM team, direct sales teams, indirect sales team Reps, and customers develop product strategies and support promotion and design in of assigned products. Sales and Product Strategy Planning * Manage the sales, PSI and forecast and product strategy planning function within assigned products. * Responsibility for budget creation, Sales promotion initiative, inventory management within the assigned products. * Work closely with BDM, SRS, channel managers to meet business goals for our distributors and sale representative. Product knowledge * Provide technical support for Device Solution business unit products to design in Panasonic Products. * Develop proposal for new products and product enhancements with the factory. * Support key customers on their product designs. * Perform product reliability support. * Create marketing content such as blogs, Brainshark and more which showcase the key features of our products. * Assist the Product manager in special projects and product promotions. Account Communication / Customer Relationship * Create business reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for upper management. * Communicate with factories to obtain the necessary support for new and existing opportunities. * Deal directly with customer engineering and assist in technical support for assigned products. * Provide competitive product and pricing cross references against our products. * Research key vertical markets and applications that fit our products. * Assist operations with expediting customer orders to avoid customer line downs. Pricing Support * Support quote team in achieving competitive pricing to support new and existing business. * Establish competitive mass production pricing levels for distributors to meet the needs of the market and maximize profit levels. Scope * Budget, employees direct and indirect and other resources managed. No direct employees. What You'll Bring: Education and Experience * College degree in Engineering, EE Preferred * 0-1 years of related experience Competencies * Strategic planning * Proficient with Excel and Access * Market trends analysis * Analytical, attention to detail, follow through * Multitasking with disciplined time management * Creative contributor, team player oriented Communications * Excellent presentation design and delivery skills in technical writing setting. * Strong technical writing ability * Strong listening skills Other Requirements * Approximately 10% travel.
