About the Employer Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) began providing services to students in 1852 and is located in the heart of California's Central Valley near the banks of the San Joaquin River. SUSD is the 17th largest school district in California, whereby 38,000 PK-12th grade students come to us to experience an academic journey that leads to high school graduation and success in college, careers, and as actively-engaged community members. Qualifications: Experience and Education: Any combination of education, training and experience equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12) grade and four (4) years of broad, varied and increasingly responsible secretarial and administrative work, preferably in the field of public education. College education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Satisfactory testing in typing is required by the closing date. All applicants including current District employees are required to supply their valid typing certificate. Candidates must provide a valid typing certificate from the SUSD School for Adults. School for Adults 1525 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204 Typing Tests are given on Monday & Friday By Appointment Only Please call (209) 933-7455 to schedule an appointment or email Brian Canepa @ bcanepa@stocktonusd.net. Sign up and pay the $10.00 fee* in the front office. *Entitles participant to (3) 5-minute timed tests on day of payment.
