The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond. As an Assistant Teacher, you are: * Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom. * Engaged! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families. * Knowledgeable! Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics. * Creative! Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children. We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who have: * Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool is preferred * High School Diploma and Six hours of college credit in Early Childhood Education or Related field required. * Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field. * The ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements. * Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children. Compensation & Benefits: * Pay $16.50 - $18.00 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience * Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees. * Limited medical offered for part-time workers. * Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees * Monday-Friday work week Learning Care Group, Inc. is the second-largest for-profit child care provider in North America and a leader in early education.
