Compliance Quality Assurance Director, AIG Programs Division AIG's underwriters develop insurance solutions that address the exposures of companies and individuals, and embody AIG's tradition of innovation, bringing to market groundbreaking insurance solutions for our changing world. AIG's underwriters help to find insurance solutions for risks from a range of areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients and High Net Worth individuals. AIG Programs develops industry leading solutions both on an Admitted and Non-Admitted basis, manages both large and small portfolios, either national or regional in scope, and works with Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) partners countrywide. How you will create an impact We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented problem solver who exemplifies a willingness to be flexible, learn on the job, and gain multi-faceted experience with a full scope of Commercial Lines P&C products as well as multi-functional experience with exposure to Program Management, Underwriting, Product Development, Actuarial, Legal/Compliance, Operations and IT Systems. * Assist in the development and roll-out of a comprehensive Quality Assurance & Market Conduct Review process and audit scope to complement the other audits/reviews performed by other functional areas of AIG Programs and/or AIG Corporate. * Gain a comprehensive working knowledge of AIG Programs' products and systems, rating plans, Programs and DUA partners. * Conduct Quality Assurance/Market Conduct reviews of all Programs, either independently or in concert with other functional area reviews, and communicate results accordingly. * Conduct periodic reviews of off-line raters used by Program Administrators to supplement the rating within their Programs to ensure these raters are consistent with approved rates. * Work with AIG Program Management and DUA partners on identifying areas of improvement, developing mutually-agreed upon remediation plans and following up for assurance that corrective actions have been implemented as required. * Cultivate strong working relationships with AIG Program Management in identify training opportunities at the DUA partner level to enhance their understanding and execution of compliant product and rating implementation within their Programs. * Actively participate in new Program and DUA partner opportunity due diligence reviews and the subsequent on-boarding/implementation of new Programs. * As a member of the AIG Programs' Compliance Department, learn and receive training on all functional responsibilities of team members to handle/assist as necessary. * Participate and contribute in the timely and comprehensive handling of all forms of regulatory/market conduct requests and inquiries impacting AIG Programs. * Collaborate with AIG Programs Product Development area on the architecture and build-out of their product (rate/rule/form) library on SharePoint and in the potential enhancement of notification processes for the product/rating implementation in DUA partner systems. * Work closely with numerous functional areas within AIG Programs or AIG Corporate with a focus on improving Divisional processes, controls and governance. What you'll need to succeed * 10+ Years of Commercial Insurance experience focused on Multi-Line Package product lines. * Working knowledge of U.S. Regulatory framework and commercial lines product and market conduct compliance requirements. * Experience with and knowledge of ISO product construction and rating as well as Admitted and Non-Admitted product and rating implementation/execution. * Understanding of the Program Business model with Delegated Underwriting Authority to external parties. * Ability to manage by influence demonstrating strong communication, relationship management, organizational and analytical skills. * Equal ability to work independently or as part of a multi-functional team in reviewing Program business policy output and adherence to company product and regulatory directives. * Demonstrated ability to understand and work with analytical tools, reports and technology. * Ability to work in dynamic, rapidly changing environment, adapting to changing requirements and collaborating with a wide range of colleagues to deliver expected results. * Highly motivated and results-oriented, proven creative problem solver. * Very strong verbal and written communication skills. For positions based in Jersey City, NJ and New York City, NY, the base salary range is $165,000-$205,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
