Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Operations Support Manager - Principal to join our team in Alexandria/ Falls Church, VA. This is a technical, ONSITE position supporting the US government's efforts regarding Federal immigration laws and regulations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Responsible for all activities relating to technical guidance for planning, directing, and monitoring information systems operations * Plans and recommends machine modifications or additional equipment to increase the capacity of the system * Provide technical leadership, apply this leadership in any phase of the system development life cycle support as task requirements dictate and may have a high level of expertise in one area * Utilize an accomplished knowledge of multiple technical disciplines, unique applications, and business management practices to develop technical and/or business solutions to client problems * Assist clients in planning and developing objectives and goals * Support client objectives while conforming to the client's operating practices * May be required to act as a technical supervisor * Prepares operational cost estimates for current and proposed projects * Evaluates vendor proposals for purchases of hardware * May manage related outsourcing contracts and service levels * Directs compilation of records and reports concerning production, machine malfunctioning, and maintenance * May advise or consult on organizational, procedural, and workflow plans, methods, and procedures analysis * Analyze the results of workflow plans, monitors the operating system(s) and recommends changes to improve processing and utilization Basic Qualifications: * 7+ years of IT management experience * Bachelor's degree in information technology management or equivalent * Applicable and current project/program management certifications (i.e., PMI) * Applicable and current information technology certifications (i.e., DoD 8570/DoDM 8140) Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree in information technology management or equivalent Security Clearance Requirements: * Must be a U.S. citizen * Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Physical Requirements: * Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/talking/walking * Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods * Communicating with others to exchange information * Working with computers The projected compensation range for this position is $57,200-$94,600. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
