Annual Security Report Notice
Pace is committed to ensuring the safety and security of the students, faculty, staff and visitors to the University. The report contains information on security policies as well as crime and fire statistics for the University.
Serve as an undergraduate research assistant on the project: Carnegie Classification Civic Engagement Recertification Project.
Pace University is recertifying their Community Engagement Classification from Carnegie and ACE. A university team will be led to collect the data needed for that application process and will work with administrators, faculty, staff, students and community members. This is a data intensive process which includes identification of model university community partnerships, supports for community engagement, community-based university research, community engaged courses and co-curricular programming, community partner voice, etc. and includes both quantitative and qualitative data collection.
The undergraduate research assistant will familiarize themselves with the application and the history of the classification at Pace. They will serve as a liaison between the working group and the university and community. They will attend planning meetings, organize data, participants and resources in classes community, follow up with data collection requests, check in regularly with supervisors, and assist in the distribution of community partners survey required by the process. This is an exciting opportunity for students with interests in community engagement and or data collection and analysis.
* You must have Work Study funding added to your awards BEFORE applying for this position. You are potentially eligible for Work Study if you are a US Citizen or permanent resident, have filed a FAFSA, are enrolled in at least 6 credits, and are in good academic standing.
This position requires the following:
* Must be Work Study eligible
* Familiarity with Brightspace Classes, proven track record of strong administrative skills including but not limited to
* Ability to work with multiple constituencies (administrators, faculty, staff, students and community partners)
* Written and verbal communication skills
* Project management/time management skills
* Ability to gather information needed to complete tasks autonomously
* Skills recommended/and or willingness to learn
* Coordinate, integrate, and maintain data collection for an application process
* Differences between different types of data and data collection, past or current Involvement with CCAR programs is a plus
Instructions to find your Work Study eligibility status:
* Log into your MyPacePortal and click on Student Home and then the "Financial Aid" box (middle of screen).
* Once in Financial Aid, select the "Award Offer" tab and the correct Award Year.
* Scroll down to "Options to Pay Net Cost" and take a screenshot of the funds that are allocated specifically to Work Study for the academic year. Make sure your name is captured in the screenshot, then upload the screenshot, and submit it along with your application.
* If these details are not available in the "Award Offer" section of your profile, you are NOT currently eligible for Work Study funding. If you are a US citizen or permanent resident, and you have filed a FAFSA, you can open a Help Desk ticket with Financial Aid to determine your Work Study eligibility.
