The Senior Business Development Manager (BDM), Automotive, will play a critical role in executing Netradyne's automotive strategy. This position is responsible for coordinating daily activities, projects, and programs essential to building and sustaining strategic partnerships with major automotive truck and fleet OEMs. The role involves extensive cross-functional collaboration, driving OEM traction, and ensuring the successful integration of Netradyne's technology into OEM vehicle systems. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, the Senior BDM will be instrumental in aligning internal teams and external partners to achieve strategic milestones. Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform these essential functions. * Make Things Happen: Drive OEM partnerships by cutting through obstacles, aligning stakeholders, coordinating actions, and meeting deadlines. * Lead the Charge: Rally cross-functional teams to hit aggressive goals. Use creative problem-solving and collaboration to get things done. * Influence and Motivate: Use fleet demand to push OEM relationships forward and vice versa. Keep everyone-from partners to internal teams-motivated and on the same page. * Tech Savvy: Handle the details of product integration, from tech specs to delivery and training to legal hurdles. Know when to escalate issues and keep projects moving. * Solve Tough Problems: Tackle complex challenges with smart, out-of-the-box solutions. Know when to push, when to pull, and when to escalate. * Build Strong Relationships: Be the go-to person for OEMs. Drive co-marketing efforts and product collaborations that make both sides win. * Own the Outcome: Take full ownership of partnership programs. Deliver results on time and within budget, no excuses. * Keep Improving: Stay ahead of the curve by constantly looking for ways to improve partnerships and keep Netradyne leading the pack. * Travel: Eventually the role may require from one to several US domestic trips per month. Background Required: * Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience * Years of Experience: 10-15 years overall industry experience in technology, preferably automotive, trucking, or fleet tech. * Relevant Background: Preferably started in a technical role such as engineer, field engineer, TPM, or similar before transitioning into business development or partnerships. * Subject Matter Expertise: 5-10 years of experience specifically in business or partnership programs in automotive technologies, trucking systems, fleet tech, or related fields. * Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships in the tech or automotive industry. * Technical Knowledge: Ability to quickly absorb technical knowledge or have a deep understanding of automotive/fleet/safety technologies and industry trends. * Influence and Motivation: Skilled in motivating and aligning cross-functional teams and partners to achieve common goals. * Drive and Adaptability: High energy, flexibility, and drive to push projects forward in dynamic environments. Background Preferred (but not required): * Education: Advanced degree preferred * Automotive and Fleet Tech: Vehicle technologies, including fleet management systems, vehicle safety, driver assistance systems (ADAS), and vehicle networking. * Autonomous Driving: Software and hardware stacks related to autonomous driving, including sensors, control systems, and data processing. * Trucking and Vehicle Data: Knowledge of trucking industry specifics, vehicle data analytics, and how these technologies integrate with fleet operations. * Emerging Vehicle Technologies: Cutting-edge automotive tech, such as vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, autonomous driving, next gen sensors, or green technologies.
