As a Pricing Solutions Consultant, you will provide commercial consultation and aftermarket pricing solutions to Americas CI industry segment partners. This work includes conducting price value assessments for various regions and products, review product/program profitability, analyze competitive environments, and consult on sales variance programs. This role will serve as a main point of contact for all parts pricing communications with Americas CI industry segment partners, and the Core responsibilities include translating aftermarket business insights into business intelligence that guide and enable CI field teams to identify and solution key root causes to overcome price value gaps. What You Will Do: * Lead commercial consultation efforts that optimize strategic sales variance usage. * Provide profitability guidance on how to grow extended OPACC-C dollars and aid the CI industry segment in sales variance budget management. * Drive commercial simplification and parts sales variance effectiveness. Analyze sales history, volume forecast, gap to target price positioning, DNN revenue & margin trends, TAP analysis, competitive pressure, growth potential and other related factors. * Confront unique and complex issues or problems on a regular basis, which require careful analysis, diagnosis, innovative solutions and proper handoff to responsible internal partner that can address non-pricing related root causes What You Have: * Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment. * Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. * Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate co Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner. * Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers. Top Candidates Will Have: * 3-6 years of experience in parts pricing, or roles in aftermarket department * Prior Dealer or CI Industry experience is highly desirable * PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Excel proficiency * Working knowledge SQL * Knowledge of Caterpillar products, Cat Financial products, CVA, merchandising programs and/or relevant business systems Additional Info: * This position will be located in our Peoria, Irving, Chicago or Tucson offices * This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office * Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify * Sponsorship is not available * Domestic travel may be up to 10 - 20% Posting Dates: July 24, 2024 - August 6, 2024 Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen.
