Job Details: This position is responsible for movement of product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position starts at $21.00/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime.  We have an open position for second shift. This facility operates five days a week and produces Sausage Patties, Roll Sausage and Sausage Links. POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for accurately putting away, putting down and replenishing product and/or accurately packing product, while also adhering to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Operate a Hi Rise reach truck and other material handling equipment. * Lift cases of product and tack onto pallets. * Put away pallets of production and inbound product. * Load and unload blast freezer. * Ensure accuracy of product locations and case counts. * Report damaged product to Inventory personnel or shift lead person or supervisor. * Keep a clean and orderly zone throughout shift and leave the zone clean at the end of the shift. Responsible for picking orders. * Maintain all goals and standards of productivity. * Maintain a safe and clean working environment. * Management will appoint a trained designee to fill in for absentees and vacancies. * ALL employees are responsible for upholding principles of SQF 2000. REQUIREMENTS: * Must be willing and able to operate a pallet jack and forklift and pass the pallet jack and forklift test. * Basic math skills required. * Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. * Must have basic and working computer knowledge as well as RF experience. * Ability to communicate effectively with company employees and all levels of management. * Must be able to maintain prompt and regular job attendance. * Fork-lift experience preferred. * Must be willing and able to work in below freezing temperatures for extended periods of time. * Must be willing and able to perform the assigned tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. * Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals. * Must be willing and able to lift 50lbs. * Must have at least 3 months previous work experience in the last 18 monhts.
