Austin Industries has an outstanding opportunity for an IT Quality Control Specialist at our corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The purpose of this job is to conduct audits of IT processes, systems, and controls, as well as implement quality control measures to ensure the IT systems and processes are meeting standards for our field employee-owners. The specialist will work closely with various departments and job sites to identify risks, improve processes, and ensure the overall quality of IT operations. Functional Areas of Responsibility: * IT Audit * IT Quality Control * Mobility Management * Intern Program Management Travel Requirements: * 10% - 15%: May be local travel or anywhere in the U.S. where a job site is located at. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: IT Audit: * Conduct regular audits of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. * Implement and conduct continuous improvement practices for Austins audit plans, including risk assessments, audit scope, objectives, and timelines. * Identify and track IT risks and controls and make recommendations for mitigating identified risks. * Collaborate with the Internal Audit Department in preparing detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and management responses. Quality Control: * Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the effectiveness, reliability, and performance of IT systems, processes and applications in regard to effective field operations. * Travel to job sites to conduct reviews and testing of IT processes and systems to identify areas for improvement. * Collaborate with IT teams to track and implement corrective action plans to address identified issues. Mobility Management: * Develop a strong vendor relationship with our mobility management provider to ensure SLAs and contractual terms are achieved. * Manage and administer the Mobility Management System to ensure all requests are processed and completed accurately/timely. * Enhance the mobility management process by managing the implementation of data/system integrations, rolling out new features/components and deploying automations where applicable. Intern Program Management: * Assist with the High School intern program by ensuring the student's safety and productivity while interning with our company. * Partner with corporate department heads to assess internship needs and coordinate internship placements. * General administrative duties include event planning and execution. * Perform other duties as needed. Requirements: * A Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required; job experience in related area may substitute in lieu of degree * 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite * Proven ability to leverage problem-solving skills to resolve real world technology challenges * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong and confident personality to draw information out of people in order to pinpoint areas that need IT improvement * Need to be value minded, resourceful and make judgement calls while remaining focused on customer service * Must be highly organized with an attention to detail * Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines * Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality * Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and cross functional departments * This role will travel to job sites or operation groups on an as-needed basis (10% - 15% travel) * Travel for training or additional certification may be required on occasions. * Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
