SCOPE: The Senior Recruiter builds and maintains relationships with hiring managers to ensure staffing needs are met. This role manages the recruitment and selection process, develops and completes sourcing plans, employs traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new, creative recruiting strategies. The Senior Recruiter plays a critical role in ensuring the attraction and hiring of the best possible talent to meet MHIA business needs. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and build relationships with hiring managers to better understand their business and the roles within the organization. Create tailored recruitment strategies for each role and implement them to fill positions in an efficient and timely manner. Work with hiring managers to generate compelling job postings and refresh/update those postings as required. Source premier candidates. Leverage search engines, career sites, recruiting events and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent. Manage resume screening and candidate interview process in conjunction with hiring managers. Serve as an advisor to hiring managers throughout the hiring process on matters such as interviewing techniques, selection protocols, offer management, etc. Partner with HR team to ensure organization's talent goals are met including internal, external, diversity and early career hiring. Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System and internal databases to produce reports on all phases of the recruitment process. Serves as subject matter expert to educate and advise managers on labor market conditions, hiring trends, and other key data. Participate in job fairs and college recruiting to source potential candidates and promote industry awareness. Lead recruitment and selection processes that are legally compliant and cost effective while meeting established metrics such as cost per hire, time to fill, etc. Manage the candidate experience by maintaining constant communication throughout the process ensuring a high touch and engaging experience. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and years of experience. Experience: At least six (6) years of full-cycle recruitment experience. Three (3) years of experience filling technical roles (IT and Engineering). Agency experience preferred. Any special skills/training/certifications: Effective interviewing skills and knowledge of different interviewing techniques. Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills are required, coupled with a strong sense of urgency toward problem resolution. Proven knowledge of state, federal and EEO regulations regarding hiring practices is required. Good understanding of compensation best practices. Understanding of common recruitment metrics, KPI's and reporting abilities Familiarity with work visas, PERM process etc. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using HR software and recruitment software (e.g., applicant tracking systems (ATS)) WORKING CONDITIONS: Travel: Up to 10% Weekend/late night work if applicable: Occasionally. Lifting/physical requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Why Should You Apply?
