Title Postdoctoral Fellow- Zaleski Lab Appointment Status Non-Tenure Track Department IU Bloomington Chemistry Location Bloomington Position Summary The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts + Sciences, consists of a well-rounded research community with cutting-edge expertise in a wide variety of modern disciplines including materials chemistry, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, and biochemistry. Job Summary: The Zaleski Lab in the Department of Chemistry at Indiana University is accepting applications for a postdoctoral research position. The position involves the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials for biological utility and catalysis. For additional information please visit: https: Zaleski Group | Home (iu.edu) Basic Qualifications Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in chemistry, materials science, or related field by the time of starting this position. Preferred Qualifications: The successful candidate will have considerable experience in and publications demonstrating mastery of nanomaterial (in-organic/organic) syntheses, particle surface functionalization and characterization. Peptide coupling or biological decoration expertise, or experience with biological assays is a plus. An additional 12-month extension will be available based on performance. A competitive salary along with a benefits package will be offered.
