Summary: The manufacturing engineer develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. Requirements Essential Role and Responsibilities: * Evaluate and develop manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, conferring with equipment vendors and soliciting operator input * Implement process improvements relating to quality, productivity, equipment reliability, safety and yield * Provide engineering support related to process modifications for new product development * Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs, reviewing production schedules and estimating future requirements * Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends * Lead process improvement by identifying root causes of specific quality & operations issues by gathering & evaluating relevant data & working with QA, R&D and Maintenance * Maintain product integrity and company reputation by complying with company policies * Equipment oversight - training, operation - programming, process development, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
