Senior Geologist

to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a

position located in our

Annapolis, MD

office.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will: Be part of a team completing site investigation, characterization, and remediation projects. Prepare proposals and work plans. Evaluate site characterization data to develop conceptual site models and assemble that information into reports. Direct the preparation of site characterization data graphics. Develop cost estimates for environmental characterization work. Plan and adhere to Site Specific Health and Safety Plans prepared for each project site, including participation in site safety briefings and audits by both contractors and Haley & Aldrich. Must comply with the Guiding Principles and Code of Behavior articulated in our Company Charter. Must comply with company and client Health & Safety protocols.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geological Engineering or related field. Professional registration, or ability and interest in obtaining registration; has applied or will apply for initial professional certification in their core discipline. A minimum of 10 years of geology or engineering experience. Demonstrated experience with site investigations, development of site conceptual models and report preparation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with environmental databases. Ability to travel to temporary assignments. Ropes access training is a plus.
