The Business Relationship Manager has the ultimate responsibility of leading, controlling, and directing the activities of the Business Relationship Leads and Analysts and manages all aspects of Global Data critical process activities located in Hunt Valley, APZ (Outreach SAP), and multiple NA locations and plants. This position leads Global Data on global, cross-divisional, cross-functional projects (Strategic, CCI, Supply Chain, and Commercialization projects, etc..) including SAP implementations and acquisitions. This position serves as the first point of contact for Global Data issue resolution in the following areas within the Global Data organization: Customer, Vendor, Material, Bill of Materials, Recipes, Routings, Price Administration, Product Data Management, GDSN, and Security requests and drives appropriate and timely action to mitigate risk or otherwise prepare the organization for the impact. This position supports and drives the execution of Regional and Global data process Standardizes and implements identified relationship strategies resulting in building and maintaining strong business partner and team relationships while providing value through KPI monitoring, month-end reporting, and Visual Management meetings. This role requires individual contribution from the incumbent, as well as leadership of global, cross-functional teams and the ability to work effectively with the Global Process Owner (GPO), Global Delivery Lead (GDL), and other Regional GDA Teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads global initiatives to streamline data management across the corporation and reduce supply chain costs. Manages and implements data components of Strategic, CCI, Supply Chain and acquisition projects to support tactical and strategic initiatives for both current and future system and business requirements Works collaboratively with GPO organization, Global Delivery Lead, and Regional Global Data teams to evaluate and formulate policy for Corporate global data standards. Leads initiatives to implement and enforce global data standards and SOX Control compliance for all SAP instances. Manages and supports Business Relationship Leads in the coordination of master data maintenance activities with Regional Global Data teams for Business Partners Leads, coaches, motivates and develops team Works directly with Business Partners to deliver quarterly metrics and KPI reporting and leads RCA initiatives to improve metrics. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Engineering, Food Science, or related field. In lieu of a degree, 8+ years cross functional data experience deemed relevant by the hiring Manager would be considered. 8+ years of progressive, broad-based business experience in the area(s) such as Master Data, Materials Management, Planning, Production, Warehousing, Order Management, Purchasing, Supply Planning, Quality, Accounting, and EDI. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in high-pressure, sensitive situations. Ability to implement process improvements and work under aggressive deadlines. SAP experience required. 5+ years directing, overseeing, managing, leading, and developing dynamic work teams. 5+ years of project management, with execution of large, multiple, or cross-functional projects. In-depth understanding of how the team interacts with other McCormick functions, globally. Working knowledge of McCormick Supply Chain, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Finance processes. In-depth understanding of the integration points of SAP, the interfaces to bolt-on systems, and the impact of configuration, table definitions, and SAP design. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to present and sell ideas to others. Ability to influence outcomes. Excellent customer service skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and motivate a team. Interacts with all levels of Management and McIT - regular. Interacts with Global functions: R&D - Technologists through to Development Manager Supply Chain - Production Planners, Materials Schedulers, Customer Service Coordinators, Distribution Analyst, Purchasing buyers Sales & Marketing; Commercialization Team Finance - Cost accounting, Commercial Finance Operations - Factory & warehouse management team, Group Leaders, Team Leaders Vendor Assurance, Quality and Regulatory Teams International Trade compliance - all levels Auditors - occasional. Professional Data Governance knowledge and ability to benchmark with peer companies. Able to work independently and collectively and motivate team and others within the business. Excellent communication and presentation skills and customer service skills. MS Office skills required. Knowledge of end-to-end business processes including, but not limited to Food Manufacturing, Procurement to Pay, Distribution, Quality, Product Development, and Sales Order to Cash business processes. Proven ability to establish global data standards. Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate data and propose new methods/process improvements. Relationship management and cross-functional project management experience. Comfortable interacting with all levels of the business. Able to challenge non-standard requests and guide business through master data design decisions. Able to prioritize workload and lead change management efforts. Preferred Qualifications: MBA - The position requires intellectual agility and the capacity to learn quickly to take on new areas of work and global initiatives.
