Two Six Technologies is growing and we are looking for a Network Administrator to join our Corporate IT team, You will support networking, data center operations, servers and services, remote access, virtualization, and inventory and records management. This is a great position to learn and grow in your career. You will work from our headquarters office in Arlington, VA. What you will do: * Assist with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all data center infrastructure * Assist with the development of new infrastructure plans, upgrade planning, and other future system designs as needed to support the enterprise * Monitoring, analyzing, and resolving hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion as ability allows * Work and problem solve independently escalating problems as needed * Work in close cooperation with Security, Facilities, and Operations teams * Maintain documentation of systems, problem resolutions, and instructions What you will need: * 1+ years of experience working with systems in a data center environment: Servers, Racks, Cable Management, etc. * Ability to work with network switching: VLAN, ACL, etc. * Experience working with Linux systems * Familiarity with virtualization (hypervisors and VMs) * Understanding of physical connections, cable types, etc. * Understanding of common industry terminology * Demonstrated knowledge of network technologies in OSI Model Layers 1 through 3 * Knowledge and understanding of IP Traffic: routing, NAT, etc. * Attention to detail, ability to follow specific instructions to complete some tasks * Interest in keeping abreast of emerging technologies and/or better ways to "build things" What we would like for you to have: * Network Device system experience such as Cisco IOS * Comfort using a text console to work on systems * Ability to simplify complex systems and describe via diagrams and/or written text Security Clearance Eligibility and willingness to obtain a government clearance Looking for other great opportunities?
